This is a song we really wish we weren't inspired to do.  In the Summer of 2005, we lost a dear friend, and the original drummer for Terashain to a heart attack.  Over time, many of the tears have turned to grins, but not a day goes by that I don't think of this dude!  What a Guy!  We were honored to have original Terashain guitarist, and Mike's brother Jon come in and do the solo on the track.  It can't be easy to nail a guitar solo for a song written about your late brother. Jon Anderson is the consumate professional, and a great friend.
We miss you Mike, and think of you always.

Lyrics

I’ve had lots of time these last few days
Just to sit and think
Of how you’ve touched my life so many ways
And what you’ve meant to me
Now the door you have before you
Only you can go through
Ooooh, I wish you well

Some things I think that you should know
That I never got to say
Your friendship meant the world to me
And I long for one more day
Of making memories and music
Right now we all could use it
You know, this hurts like hell

And I look to the sky and I close my eyes
I can see that one door closes and another opens wide
It’s the circle we all start in
Our spirits taking part in
A fearless dance of time

It seems time is hard to find these days
And you’ll miss it if you blink
I send a message to the ones I love
And I don’t have to stop and think

And I look to the sky and I wonder why
It has to be that one door closes and another opens wide
My son will come to know you
Through the stories I hold onto
You’ll always bring a smile

And I look to the sky and I close my eyes
I can see that one door closes and another opens wide
It’s the circle we all start in
Our spirits taking part in
A fearless dance of time

I’ve had lots of time these last few days
Just to sit and think…

Wish you well
You’ll always bring a smile
I can see that one door closes…
And another opens wide, I wonder why?
