Some exciting things going on in the Terashain world lately… we have just put the finishing touches on the video for our remake of the ballad “Next to You” featuring the AWESOME Mr. Eric Levy (keyboardist for Night Ranger) on piano!! Eric really knocked this out of the park, capturing exactly what we were looking for to change the tune up a bit. “Originally, we just really wanted a tune that someone COULD play as the first dance at their wedding - a testament to love and devotion, never really thinking that someone WOULD have one of our tunes as a wedding song… We are thrilled to know that it has actually been in seven weddings that we are aware of, and we think that changing the tune up to have Eric's piano as the backdrop makes the song even MORE of a ballad”, says Roger Penton, vocalist for Terashain. The video is a tribute to fatherhood, and to the special bond between fathers and their kids. “We are hoping that fans and friends feel the message through the video and the song, as it was intended during the writing”, says Roger.
Terashain plans to release both the video and the single for download on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th. The single can be purchased and downloaded initially only from the band's website homepage (www.terashain.com). Future plans will see the song released on iTunes, Amazon, and other popular download sites.
